Description
The Currie 60 high-pinion performance axle for the Jeep Wrangler TJ, is a complete bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicle's factory driveshaft will require modification or replacement to accommodate the larger 60 series housing and 1350 series u-joint.
- The Currie high-pinion, high-clearance center section with rotated cover delivers unmatched ground clearance, and improved obstacle slide-over by presenting a smooth curve, rather than the sharp edge found on other 60 housings.
- Rock Slider - Integrated AR400 hardened steel skid plate resists deformation and gouging to slide over obstacles far better than iron housings or mild steel plates.
- Large diameter outer pinion bearing (right) is designed for the demands of reverse rotation/high pinion housings. Stock low pinion bearing (left).
- High volume flow-thru recirculating oil system keeps pinion bearings bathed in cool oil, reducing operating temperatures and eliminating oil starvation issues.
- Large 3 in. diameter x .5 in. wall axle tubes (left) are more than 2.5 times stronger than the stock Dana 30 tubes (right).
- Explorer 11.250-inch disk brakes with internal parking brake provide increased stopping power over the stock TJ drum brakes.
- Heavy-duty 3/16 inch brackets feature multiple mounting options for adjusting suspension geometry to accommodate a range of vehicle lifts.

Notes:
Sway Bar: The factory TJ/LJ rear sway bar must be flipped side to side (installed upside down) to be used with a high pinion Currie 60. However, due to its design, the factory sway bar will interfere/limit the housings downward travel at full droop.
